Syllabus: The complete process of cutting and polishing of color stones. Various stages i.e. rough assortment, marking and sawing of rough stones, preforming, calibration and faceting. The course covers the physical and optical properties and their importance in cutting techniques of all kinds of precious and semi precious stones. The latest modern machinery and equipments are used for teaching to provide the latest information of international standards so that Indian artisans can meet the challenge.
